EXCEPTIONAL FINE JEWELS & WATCHES WITH LUXEFORD
Results of the November 2019 Fine Jewels & Watches Auction
Luxeford’s Autumn Fine Jewels & Watches auction was held on 20th November at the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong. We were ecstatic and grateful of the support we received at the auction while in the midst of an unstable economy. By upholding the quality of items and professionalism has attracted both new and existing connoisseur globally.
With its instantly recognizable textural design, Buccellati evokes the glamour of the past and still remains relevant in the auction scene. Lot 2684, a beautifully made sapphire and diamond bangle, by Mario Buccellati and Lot 2682, a lady’s mother-of-pearl and gold ‘Arischron’ bracelet watch by Gianmaria Buccellati.
Conch pearl jewelry remains as the favorite while continue to steal the show with Lot 2733, a lovely pair of conch pearl and diamond ear pendants of foliage design, each suspending a cascade of conch pearl buds with flame patterns, highlighted with pavé-set diamond leaves and briolette diamonds.
Other noteworthy items that intrigue the collectors include Lot 2753, a sapphire, colored diamond and diamond ring, gorgeously set with a Sri Lankan sapphire, complimented with glistening diamonds; Lot 2780, a pair of topaz and diamond ear clips, each set with a sizeable London blue topaz, embellished by the concentric pavé-set diamond frame and Lot 2690, a hefty coral and diamond necklace, beautifully decorated throughout with Sardinian coral roundels.
Our Head of Jewelry Asia, Mr. Edmond Chan, extends his gratitude to all participants. We cherish your presence and greatly look forward to seeing you at our Spring Auction in 2020.
