Jaeger-LeCoultre’s most magical timeless Atmos clock was invented by Jean-Léon Reutter. The Atmos clock was designed to run for at least 600 years without any human intervention, never needs to be wound or lubricated. It lives from the air of time. Within the sealed capsule, there are 3 different gases, as the temperature changes, the gas mixture expands and contracts, creating a natural force that winds the machine. Every 1 degree Celsius fluctuation can generate 48 hours of energy. The Atmos collection includes a variety of phenomenal designs and forms. This particular clock was designed by Marina, showcasing a blooming spring scene with the sophisticatedly carved gilt bees, dandelion and silvergrass in three-dimension.
