Centering upon an antique cushion-cut emerald weighing 2.71 carats, within the brilliant-cut diamond scalloped frame, to the plain hoop, mounted in platinum, diamonds weighing approximately 2.00 carats in total, ring size 6¼
Accompanied by a report from the Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF), stating that the 2.71 carat natural emerald is green color of medium strong saturation, originates from Colombia and has no indications of clarity modification in fissures at the time of testing, report no. 104419, dated 21st January 2019
Accompanied by a report from the GemResearch Swisslab, stating that the 2.71 carat natural emerald is vivid green color, originates from Colombia and clarity enhancement none, report no. GRS2018-116716, dated 15th November 2018
Also accompanied by an appendix from the GemReserch Swisslab stating that the vividly saturated emerald of 2.71 ct is reminiscent in hue of varieties displaying the legendary colors found in the world renowned Muzo mines. They are formally described as "Muzo Green" and commonly known in the trade as "Old Mine" emeralds and displays an additional microscopic velvety appearance caused by a rare growth phenomenon described in the literature as “butterfly-wing effect”
