The jadeite carving of white color and very good translucency, depicting ‘Guanyin’ the Goddess of Mercy seated on a lotus holding the potion of salvation, upon a wooden stand of swirling clouds symbolizing serenity, jadeite measuring 92.35 x 60.39 x 15.28 mm, height 17.00 cm (with the stand) (2)
Accompanied by a report from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory, stating that the carving is natural jadeite and no resin is detected, report no. SJ 74797, dated 22nd July 2013
