The celadon material of good translucency depicts ‘Guanyin’, The Goddess of Mercy seated serenely, resting one foot on a lotus flower whilst holding the potion of salvation, to the well-carved wooden stand, jadeite measuring approximately 173.00 x 85.16 x 46.92 mm, carving with stand 25.30 cm (2)
Accompanied by a report from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory, stating that the carving is natural jadeite and no resin is detected, report no. EXSJ 5869, dated 15th September 2016
