Centered with a high dome cabochon moonstone weighing 101.31 carats, surrounded by circular-cut pink sapphires with brilliant-cut diamond-set details, to a concealed pendant loop accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18k white gold, pendant length 6.50 cm

Centuries ago at the time of Art Nouveau, moonstone was noticeably a very popular gemstone into the French jewelry creations. In Arabic cultures, ladies often wear moonstones sewn out of sight into their garments, and it is also regarded as a symbol of fertility. The most abundant sources are in Burma, Sri Lanka and India, and its body color can range from colorless to various shades of white, gray, brown, yellow, orange, green, or peach. Moonstone has no known enhancements or treatments, because it is often very transparent. The largest and highest carat 328-carat moonstone found in known existence of the Guinness book of records came from Africa in 1918.
