Giulio Nardi was born in Florence and moved to Venice in the 1920s where he opened his first jewellery store in the world-famous Piazza San Marco. As a first-class jeweller, Nardi employs artisan techniques inspired by the work of 18th century Venetian goldsmiths. A combination of artistic genius and a love of the exotic led Nardi to reinterpret one of the best-loved and most famous Venetian icons: the Moretto. The iconic piece made the Nardi brand world famous.
