Comprising two brooches, (i) modeled as a bird, the head mounted with an oval emerald cabochon, accented with brilliant-cut diamond eye, to the carved sapphire and ruby feathers, resting on textured gold branch, mounted in 18K yellow gold, circa 1960, with French hallmark and maker’s mark; (ii) designed as an Ali Baba, face set throughout with circular-cut sapphires, enhanced by similarly-cut emerald eyes and marquise-cut ruby accents, wearing a textured gold turban, cape and boots, embellished with ruby flowers, holding a diamond-set sword, mounted in yellow gold, bird brooch length 5.00 cm, Ali Baba brooch length 5.80 cm (2)
