The nephrite carving of even white color and good translucency, depicting an auspicious ‘Mythical Beast’ biting down on a ‘lingzhi’ while playing with a melon with its paws, carving measuring approximately 37.17 x 53.29 x 27.51 mm
Accompanied by a report from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory, stating that the carving is natural nephrite jade and no resin is detected, report no. SJ 129118, dated 17th February 2016
