Carved as an upright jadeite Laughing Buddha (Maitreya) of celadon color with hints of lavender and light green as well as good translucency, signifying benevolence, contentment and serenity, to the well-carved wooden stand, jadeite measuring 133.95 x 75.10 x 37.92 mm, height with stand 23.00 cm (2)
Accompanied by a report from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory, stating that the carving is natural jadeite and no resin is detected, report no. EXSJ 5868, dated 15th September 2016
